.NET Domains

When the .NET generic domain name extension was initially set up in 1985, together with the first domains on the World Wide Web, it was intended to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure organizations. Given that there were no particular rules about the usage of the TLD, though, dot NET domains were secured and used for various purposes and by loads of people. This TLD represents a good substitute of dot COM, especially if the desired domain with the latter domain extension is not available for registration.

Registering a dot NET domain name with our firm is as easy as ABC and takes no more than a couple of minutes, taking into consideration that we partner with an ICANN-accredited registrar firm. You can acquire such a domain for a period between one and ten years, or, if you already have a domain, you can transfer it to our company and we will renew it after the transfer process is completed. Transfers are possible for all domains, which are at least sixty days old, provided that they are unlocked and that you possess an EPP transfer authorization key – security measures introduced by the Registry against unauthorized transfers. You can easily edit the WHOIS contacts of the domain through your Control Panel interface, or, if you don’t want this information to be accessible at all, you can purchase a Whois Privacy Protection service, so no one will be able to view your real contact information.

The dot NET top-level domain supports internationalized names, so you can select if you want to target a particular country or territory using a domain name in the local language, or the global Internet community – using a generic English name.

The Domain Manager user interface is a crucial part of the Web Hosting Control Panel. As such, it's designed to be quick and user-friendly for both experienced website owners and hosting novices. It features a complete range of domain controls, meaning you will get total control over your domain name's DNS and WHOIS settings. Furthermore, it enables you to manage many domains from the exact same place effortlessly - you're not restricted to just one domain name per Control Panel.

And, when you have a hosting account here, you are able to perform both site management as well as domain name management tasks. You won't have to sign in to other Control Panels or switch interfaces.
